The room was clean and tidy although it did get very warm in the night
The room for breakfast and carvery lunch was a little tired and untidy. It could do with a bit of a lift.
nothing - its smelly, dark and staff were not friendly.
The value and car parking.
No free internet connection. Also, hotel receptionist could have been a little friendlier.
I like the hotel for its location and its cosy atmosphere . free parking and breakfast included are good .very relaxing stay.
The room was too warm during the night
The hotel room which I was booked into was dingy, smelly, wardrobe was from the last century. Bed was unwelcoming. Scary room. I immediately complained to reception and was given a clean and bright room. First impressions last and I won't be back. Hotel requires a complete face lift.
My husband I thought the hotel was great value for money .Nice and quiet and a short distance from the city centre .
Loved the breakfast and Dorothy who served it she was a great help to paul and I ,Thank you x
The friendly staff , the food and the location of the hotel.
On site car parking,
The hotel was recently updated according to the hotel web site however the room we were allocated (room 24) was very old fashioned, the mattress on our bed was not at all comfortable, the wall by the window was flaking and the view from the bedroom window was a dirty yard. the bathroom was very shabby, ie broken tiles, a self which was held together with sticky tape,
I enjoyed the friendly and helpful attitude of all of the staff. The reception staff were very helpful regarding advice on travelling into Dublin and the bar staff were chatty, something a lot of hotels seem to miss out on.
I have no complaints, I enjoyed my visit.
It was convenient for me as I was attending a function there. However it would not normally be my choice of hotel.
Friendliness of staff, great shopping location
superb restaurant staff
room was like a 2star room and the hotel is not advertised as a 2star!!
having to pay to use the internet 7euro per hour.
When the staff saw that i had some luggage they offered to carry it for me.
I found it difficult to find the correct road to enter the hotel by car
The only thing decent were the staff who were very friendly which made it difficult to complain to them as they were too nice and I was too pissed off with the hotel in general to take it out on them, starting with trying to locate the hotel and find my way into the place, no sign posts anywhere
The room must have been the last ugliest room in the very back end of the maybe the old house, sticky carpet, what appeared to be dry blood spots on two of my towels, stains on the quilt, shower curtain (yuk) I went for breakfast at 8.30 and already it had looked looked it was sitting there for hours, and it tasted like it too even though I asked and received a fresh fried egg... this I had thought use to be a reputably hotel having had the rugby teams even stay there once apon a time long long ago
